DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

Love the Doubletree Resort. It definitely has the resort feel and amenities. Remodeled rooms are nice, Ocean Blue restaurant is great and the grounds are beautiful. The best part is the team that we see year after year, like Denise N. at the front desk. Always kind and so helpful. We love everything about the Doubletree!

Spoke with Denise N. on the phone regarding parking our RV, and she was very pleasant and super helpful. Upon check-in we met Denise 2.0 who was also very helpful. Those two women were the highlight of our experience here. Nice place, beautiful beach.

This was one of the worst Hilton experiences in my whole life. First thing was it always seemed unsanitary and and dirty, we payed a good amount of money and we expected something way better like how it looked on the picture. The second thing that was the worst possible way hung that could happen was we got locked out of our room at 11:00 2 nights in a row, and I had to leave my family there by the door at late night and go get help, this is outrageous, I will not recommend this place to anyone unless they want free cookies.

This Hilton property along with its its sister property, the Ellie - which it shares many amenities with, is the only property I would stay at in Myrtle Beach. Located on a large property at the south end of Myrtle Beach next to the state park, it feels like another world compared to the very busy rest of the town. With the beach, pier, games, pools,water slides, plus great restaurant, you could spend the whole day here and never have to leave (we did that a couple times.) The staff is another huge plus for this property. They are all wonderful and really work great together to make every stay tremendous. From the lifeguards, to the restaurant staff, to all the hotel staff everyone is pulling the same direction which is rare to find. A+++ If we ever come back to Myrtle Beach, this is where we are staying.

Susan Bainey was great, her customer service was amazing I would stay here again because of her understanding and willingness to help and make my stay better. Room experience was not good. Could not connect to WiFi on my computer and it took 10 minutes every morning to get hot water in my shower. Room phone had so much static I couldn’t communicate with anyone.
