DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

Oceanfront location and being able to the use Ellie pool was the best part of this hotel.

Dingy hotel, pools not clean, no clean towels at the pool, trash all over the place. I don’t think we ever saw a person working there. The room was fine, very small and was not impressed by the cleanliness. Price for the room was insane. I expected much more for such an expensive oceanfront room. Thin walls could hear people at 3 AM coming home from a night out. Overall, I was glad we were only staying overnight. Will not be staying at a doubletree again.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Restaurant had great food and very fast service. Lindsay (waitress) was very nice and was constantly checking on us.

I loved the location. I had a lovely ocean view. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bathroom was cleaned with enough towels and other bathroom necessities. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

This stay was pretty awful. First, my digital key didn’t work so I went to the front desk. Both clerks were on the phone and stayed on the phone while I read the brochures and sipped a glass of wine. When I got to check in the clerk asked for my credit card even though I already paid. I had to go back to the car and when I came back both clerks were back on the phone. Anyway, the hotel is in the flight path to the airport, so it’s very exciting. I woke up at 3 am and even though the hotel was largely empty the room next to me was booked with loud talkers having an animated conversation. Terrible. I am lifetime Marriott Gold, so not sure why I booked that hotel, but never again.

Perfekt Property for a beach vacation. Own Beach Access. Great Gym. And the most rooms have a great beach view. The mini golf area is in a much better shape than the year before but the carpets at the greens should be all replaced. We live the place and will be back.

Stayed at Ellie's.. Debi was great and so good at giving us directions on where we wanted to go. She even drew a map for us which made it a lot better..
