La Locanda del Notaio

La Locanda del Notia was a lovely place to stay - in the countryside and rustic in style but comfortable and clean. Lovely boutique hotel feel. The drive to get there, up very twisty mountain roads, is not for the faintheared if arriving after dark, but the views on the way down again are well worth it.

Schöne, grosse Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr liebenswürdige Angestellte, die einem in jeder Situation hilfreich zur Seite stehen. Einziger negativer Punkt: Die lärmige Strasse auf der Hotel-Eingangsseite - zwar nicht viel Verkehr, aber wenn Motorräder und Autos vorbeifahren ist es sehr laut.

Dieses Hotel ist perfekt zum Entspannen, etwas abgelegen und sehr ruhig. Es sieht aus wie eine alte italienische Villa, welche in einer wunderschönen Parkanlage liegt. Die Zimmer alle komplett renoviert, mit einer sehr witzigen Mischung zwischen modern und rustikal.

Ich hatte ein gemütliches Landhotel zum Ausspannen erwartet. Doch das Hotel hat irgendwie wenig Charme, etwas kleine Zimmer, das Restaurant ist sehr teuer, das Frühstück bescheiden und der Park ist irgendwie steril. Der grösste Nachteil ist aber, dass man für jede Sehenswürdigkeit lange Auto fahren muss. Auf mich macht es den Eindruck, als ob irgend ein Investor dort einen Golfplatz mit Hotel hingestellt hat und jetzt auf die Rendite wartet.

A beautiful place to stay! Tastefully decorated and fantastic surroundings. The personel was charming and most welcoming. Will highly recommend the restaurant where the food and service is second to none.

When we arrived, a roaring fire greeted us in the lobby. The inn has been updated and the quality of the rooms was wonderful. The service was very helpful and professional. The views of the mountains and the sculptures in the yard were lovely. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was amazing. I had one the best meals of my life here. They host weddings here and I hope that my daughter lets me have hers here. It was simply outstanding. You will need a car to get here, though. It is high in the mountains.

Lovely location, excellent food although quite expensive and the portions are rather small. This is a cracking little hotel that I would compare to a 3* country house hotel in the UK. There are no great lake views or anything but the large gardens are immaculate and the arae is up in the hills and srrounded by lush green countryside and the staff are very helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff were so friendly.

This is the perfect retreat for those that want to relax and enjoy the best of everything. The hospitality of all the people running the hotel and their staff is superb. The food is better than I have ever experienced in Italy. You cannot fail to be impressed with this fine hotel.
