Carolina Inn & Suites of Lake Norman

First room had hairs on beds and no blankets. Lady at front desk was very nice and gave us a different room. When we returnd to our room around 8 pm the next day our room had not been cleaned so I asked for clean wash cloths only. Owner and his wife was cleaning the room next to ours. I will not stay here again.

Great motel for the price, decor was modern and clean. Small fridge and microwave was a bonus. Tv a little smallish but not a big deal. Check in friendly and helpful. Lots of good food choices very close.

Easy access in and out. Many dining places surrounding the property. The lobby is always locked, no snacks or drinks, room was very dirty and dusty. The rooms smelled extremely musty. No soaps in bathroom. Went to check out at 7 and the front doors were locked, tried to call no answer, so we had to wait 2 hours to check out.

Staff was very nice and quick to respond when the key wouldn't open the door to the first room we were given. Immediately put us in another room. There were no vending machines in the vending machine area...assuming that's due to Covid, and there were no coffee makers in the room, but they did have coffee in the entry area. Seemed a little odd to have a communal coffee maker rather than individual ones in the rooms, especially during Covid times. We only stayed one night so we didn't really mind. They do have mini-fridges and microwaves though, and the rooms were very clean!

Clean, no frills hotel! Pleasant staff! If you’re just looking for a clean place to rest up, before moving on, this place is a great choice & will save you lots of money! I’m just a single guy who was looking for a shower & a bit of sleep - Good bargain!
