Carolina Inn & Suites of Lake Norman

Hotel used to be a good economic choice No maintenance has been on property. Outside looks better than rooms. Curtains has small holes in them doors do not fit frames, you can see light around door. Towels are thread-bare as are blankets. I have used this hotel for years but this was my last visit. Not worth the savings.

Room had little in the way of appropriate bedding. Staff was not competent or trained with check in process.

The check in clerk was NOT friendly, rude. He didnt make eye contact and said YOU DONT HAVE PETS DO YOU? Then took forever before sliding a key out and saying WE HAVE NO BREAKFAST AND WE HAVE NO POOL. That was IT. The room was iffy- couldnt sleep because of how dirty it felt. The shower had blue streak of cleaner? shampoo? body wash? really not sure what it was.... It was NOT a pleasant experience for $100 bucks.

The hotel was very clean inside and outside, the staff were great i will definitely be staying there again

the room was acceptable but the towels were stained and a lot of noise can be heard from everything they do not have sound proof windows I could not rest

Conveniently located. Older facility but well kept and clean. Mostly quiet. Small pool not open due to covid, most hotels have opened pools, no breakfast or coffee due to covid, most hotels offer modified breakfast settings. Limited check in hours. Seems family or privately owned so very limited in many things. Price fits what hotel offers though. Seems fairly safe. Easy to get to. No parking issues. Easy good WiFi.

the beds were uncomfortable and the room was musty smelling and VERY humid.. It seemed the heat was on when we walked in. But for the convenience and the $ it was just a few hours of sleep before we hit the road again.

Pool closed, no breakfast, these could have been modified instead of being cancelled in light of pandemic response.
