Hotel Continental Mare

Loved the gardens and the whole milieu, very cozy. Fantastic views. Good breakfast as was the hotell restaurant as a whole. Generally very clean and well kept.

Room size (twin/double deluxe) was a bit small for two persons travelling with two large suitcases. Also the bathroom was a bit cramped.

The hotel is excellent and all the facilities, grounds etc are deserving of the high ratings. The truly exceptional element of the hotel is the staff. I won't single out anyone by name as that would do a disservice to the entire team. I will however commend the restaurant and bar staff for their professionalism throughout our stay. They were always so friendly and helpful. My wife and I had intended to stay on Ischia for 3 days but the experience of staying at Continental Mare was so positive we decided to stay for another 3 days. A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay fun and so enjoyable

Der Aufenthalt war wunderschön! Die Anlage ist auf vielen Ebenen angelegt, bergauf geht es ganz schnell mit dem Buggy - toller Service. Die Anlage ist einfach traumhaft, super gepflegt mit vielen Blumen. Herrlich die Aussicht aufs Meer von der Terrasse. Die defekte Toilettenspülung ist sofort repariert worden.

Die Klingel an der Hauptstraße haben wir nicht entdeckt, man schleppt die Koffer über viele Stufen hinunter zur Rezeption. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Terrasse, doch leider wird das Abendessen nur im Innenbereich serviert. Die Live-Musik zur "Happy Hour" ist viel zu laut. Der Zugang zum Meer war leider gesperrt.

Its location is outstanding. The same can be said about the friendly and helpful staff. Not just one or two of them I mean everyone.

Nous avons apprécié plusieurs aspects de notre séjour, notamment le petit-déjeuner qui était très bon et varié. La vue de la chambre (vue mer) était absolument magnifique, vraiment l’un des points forts de l’hôtel. Les espaces piscine et les installations extérieures sont également très beaux et bien entretenus.

En revanche, certains points nous ont déçus. La plage, pourtant mise en avant sur les photos et la description de l’hôtel, était fermée et inaccessible pendant tout notre séjour. Nous n’avions reçu aucune information claire à ce sujet avant notre arrivée, ce qui est regrettable. Le ménage n’était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes, en particulier dans la salle de bain, qui n’était pas suffisamment bien nettoyée. Au final, l’hôtel reste agréable pour profiter d’une belle vue et d’un cadre sympa, mais le rapport qualité-prix ne nous a pas semblé justifié par rapport aux prestations proposées.

Breakfast was excellent, good choice. Location and views phenomenal. After a hectic, but enjoyable visit to Napes this was the perfect end to the holiday- immediate decompression, felt totally relaxed.

My husband doesn't eat fish or shellfood and his choices on the restaurant menu were very restricted. This is the only thing that would prevent us from visiting again.
