Super 8 by Wyndham Paris IL

Did not eat their after I found a cockroach in my room . Room was filthy.

I booked room 3 weeks before . They overbooked and canceled my 2 rooms, 2 nights LESS than 24 hrs before checkin. I called Wyndham help line and they searched and in minutes found me 2 rooms IN THIS SAME HOTEL. .THEY CHARGED ME 50.00 MORE FOR MY ROOMS. I needed the rooms otherwise would NEVER HAVE STAYED THERE. And after finding the cockroach I should have just slept in my car. Very Rude when canceling the room and never even tried to find me a new room. When i complained they brushed me off and would NOT let me speak to the manager while on site and while calling many times.

It was filthy the staff would not even give us towels. Had to clean the jacuzzi just to use it.

Staff is inattentive and side doors are not secure so anybody can just walk in. Rooms were ok except for one of the bed sheets having burn holes in it. Rooms are not cleaned daily (occupied rooms). Asking the staff for anything is a major inconvenience to their life.

It was horrible!!! Only good thing was the bed was comfortable BUT it also had Bed Bugs !! The shower head wasnt even fasten on right so I FIXED IT..Had to get my room key reprogrammed every day i was there. That whole place need a overhaul...I AM NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN !!!

Breakfast was not ready in time and not everything was available. There were people using drugs in the property.

Will overbook rooms and up charge you to stay if you need a room, Room smelled of smoke, bathroom was dirty and not cleaned, Wi-Fi internet was very spotty and would disconnect frequently. TV remote didn’t work, desk chair was broken. Only good was the refrigerator, clean sheets and clean towels.

My room had no tv remote. No secure door lock and none of the outlets worked in the room. We couldn't even charge our phones. The rooms stink and the hallways do also.

Here’s the deal. I needed a place to stay in a pinch. If was about on par with my expectations. The cleanliness was the biggest issue. Dirty towel on the back of bathroom door, floor not vacuumed anywhere in building, the tile floor was sticky. Comforter was riped. There were even opened mini shampoo bottles. The lights in the 2nd floor was flashing like strobe lights and falling off wall (this was fixed sometime after we arrived at night). There was also a single smoke detector chirping somewhere upstairs. I get it, it was a Super 8, it was cheap. I still think some pride in cleaning room should be there. Also, plan otherwise for breakfast. Was very limited and basically gone about an hour in. In the end. The bedding besides the comforter was fine. We slept, left and moved on. Which is what to expect to do if you stay here.

Reservation was Not as stated, I was charged extra to get a room. If it was not for bad weather and a long day, I would have refused the room. Room was Very dirty and Very smelly. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!!
