I loved the cleanliness, service, views, and the fact that it had A/C. I wasn't aware that La Union was the hottest region in El Salvador, so I really, really appreciated the A/C.

There was a wedding scheduled on the last night I was there, so it was very loud. It would have been nice to know that before my stay so that I can prepare myself and buy ear plugs or be given ear plugs.

We arrived having traversed three countries in 6 hours to find there was no hot water at the hotel. When quizzed (as they didn't advise at check in) the receptionist just said she didn't know when it would be fixed, later admitted not until the next day after we would have left! So cold showers only! Room was adequate typical of this type of hotel, we had a double bed but there wasn't that much spare room. Wifi was slow and patchy. Pool looked nice but full of kids during our stay. Breakfast not good at all, buffet style - none of our group of 14 enjoyed it! One plus point, plenty of ice in the ice machine in reception!
