Bay City (Geelong) Motel

Didn’t eat breakfast

No hot water for a shower in the morning.

Location was great. Room was clean. Bathroom was lovely.

External Appearance of motel could have been better.

Unfortunately the shower temperature fluctuated from boiling hot to cold and back again which rendered it useless. Otherwise it was a good.

the office on arriving is messy dirty cluttered with boxes and bags of rubbish. Outside bags of dirty linen just thrown in the garden. The lady was very blunt and not welcoming just like we had interrupted her. lady from office walking around in her nighty in the morning checking rooms as people leave. Just grunted at us.

Room was not clean pubic hair on the shower. sink not wiped properly still dirty from previous occupant. Chairs not fit to sit on as very wobbly. Bedside table was at breaking point with sharp pieces of metal on the sides nearly broken and falling over. Carpet dirty and only vaccumed in some places. smelled terrible.

The location of the motel is great, it is walking distance to the foreshore and to main city centre. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the bathroom nice and modern and the bed was very comfy. I liked how quiet the motel was , there was no noise from the surrounding streets even though it was in a central location.

They need to do some updated photos of the exterior of the motel. I did not realise at first if I was at the right motel as the outside did not really represent what the inside of the rooms represented.
