Quality Inn & Suites Salina National Forest Area

The lady who checked me in was friendly, helpful, and fun. She gave us a perfect room to keep an eye on our motorcycle. The shower was hot and easy to use. The room was spacious. The breakfast was very ample.

The hot tub wasn't hot. The building is in deferred maintenance. Needs work.

Easy off and on the interstate. The bed and pillows were very comfortable even though the pillows were more foldable than I’m used to. Staff was very helpful and kind when we had an issue with our lock. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast-waffles, eggs, sausage, etc-not bad.

Hallways hadn’t been vacuumed though the room itself was very clean. Hot tub wasn’t warm enough for me, so I didn’t use it.

The manager tried to enter the room shortly after 1 in the morning. She claimed she did not remember which room she had placed me in. The only thing stopping her from entering completely was the door bar. Once she realized she could not gain entry she tried to walk away as if nothing had happened. She scared me and had me fearing for my safety and didn’t even stay to explain why she had tried to enter and woken me while trying. It was only after confronting her in the hallway that she explained it was due to her being “unsure of where she put me.” As if that explained away her entering the room rather than knocking. This woman had given me the key to my room 2 hours prior. There is no way she did not know. She had me fearful for my safety. I didn’t sleep at all, barricaded the door, and waited for daylight to leave. She needs to be fired and investigated.

Staff was not friendly or helpful. Loud music in middle of night and when I went to find out what it was, it was the staff and their friends in the pool area. Breakfast waste terrible.

Nothing really.

Room was dirty. Wires hang from ceiling. Toilet to low. Empty hand soap dispenser. TV remote did not change channel. Down in the breakfast room the cover for the eggs, sausage tray is broken, making it a pain in the butt to get your food.

This place had a ton of red ants surrounding the outside. Pet friendly?? No where for them to go potty. I had to drive across the street at night and in the morning. Also, beds were springy, breakfast sucked and lots of spiders in room. Oh, and my sheet was stained a LOT!!!! Gross!
