The Dolphin Hotel

Cannot review this hotel. Notice on door. Been moved to a different hotel .

Dolphin hotel was locked up. Sent to another hotel up the road. This was ok.

Nothing

I was told.that there wasn't a room available for me due to maintenance issues, then walked past and they were having a party. Stayed at the Carlton round the corner and the staff were really good

Well didn't actually stay at the hotel was informed that all guests were relocated nearby

Lift wasn't working in the Charlton hotel floors were creaking and unsafe room didn't have a view TV wasn't working properly, no soap in soap dispenser, we had asked for a family room double bed but for two beds joined up was uncomfortable

I like the property just didn’t get to stay there

The fact I didn’t get to stay there and was sent to a different hotel and put in a twin bedroom when I booked a suite in the dolphin

The rooms are huge. Bed super comfortable. Cheap and cheerful enough

Needs bit of tlc outside and inside

The location as it was on the sea front. So if all you want is a place to rest your head and your not worried about a very very basic room with very basic facilities and a questionable guest book. Then go for it.

We arrived at the Hotel and were advised we needed to be put into the Carlton hotel. Both hotels are run. Down and dilapidated. They are also clearly used as a refuges for both brits that have fallen on hard times and as an nternational refuge. We were awoken at 2.30am to loud angry shouting and a brawl happening outside our room between the heavily intoxicated refuge guests. It was really frightening and I lay shaking in bed whilst my partner had to go and ask them to stop there antics and move away, very much putting himself at risk. The hotel manager did apologise to us in the morning, but it would be my recommendation not to use this hotel.
