James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast

Bill and his wife are the most gracious hosts we have ever stayed with! Helpful and kind! It is a beautiful and well cared for facility! Breakfasts were great. I would go out of my way to stay with them again!!

Great location near lovely nature and a minute from the center of town. Wonderful hospitality, feels personal and cared for.

Fantastic experience. The stay was lovely. We had a claw foot tub which was lovely and relaxing. The owners could not be more welcoming and friendly. The location is a 2 minute walk to the “downtown” area. We would come back in a heartbeat and stay longer! Oh and the breakfast was fantastic!

The property was clean and charming and the hosts were delightful. Breakfast was homemade scones, fresh fruit and pancakes with delicious Maine blueberries. Even has a charging station! Would highly recommend staying here.

Love Maryanne and Bill. Great food and accommodations and a real homey feel. I’ve stayed here yearly for 3 years and intend to continue to stay here when I am in Freeport.

Location to the busy areas of Freeport is steps away from this quiet oasis. Very nice innkeepers and staff will be there to make your stay pleasant while allowing you the privacy of a hotel guest. We stayed one night on our way home from mid coastal Maine and enjoyed our stay.

Other than a great location for our purposes, we were comfortable and politely attended to…..

Not a complaint but we prefer pillows that are not quite as lofty and firm. Wife loved the sheets!
