Mata Rocks Resort

The housekeeping was not the best.. but the rest of the staff made up for everything! They went above and beyond to keep us happy!

Beautiful hotel, the staff was nice & personable. Ideal hotel for quiet getaway but not necessarily for a vacation you stay in the room for (the WiFi didn’t reach my room neither did the TV connect but it was okay). Close to the ferry, other hotels neighboring it, and has a beachfront.

If you are looking for somewhere to sleep and play padle, this would be the place. Drinks were delicious. The bartender and front door lady were very welcoming and lovely! Unfortunately the night security guy was very disrespectful. The rooms are basic with a fridge, filtered water and a powerful AC.

The staff were extremely helpful, kind and very friendly. I would certainly stay there again.

Very nice hospital people! I got rather sick during my stay. They took good care of me. Was genuinely concerned about how I was doing. They don’t just walk by and act like they don’t see you. They always look,wave,and check on you. Nice and friendly.

Place is only ok

It was a terrible choice for me and my family, I’m glad my booking was only for one night . The room looked clean but actually was not . You can tell the staff did not change the sheets and towels it was hair and makeup on both . Same for the bathroom hair in the shower, mirror and toilet was not clean . When I call front desk the lady came in with a can of Lysol spray to clean the bathroom. It was a lot of noise, like they choose to have about 10 men on the roof .. my kids felt unsafe do to all the man just staring at you , we couldn’t even take a picture on the balcony because the men maybe family own was just staring you down . The only good thing about this hotel was the lady at the front desk, was very kind . I definitely will never come back or recommend this place to no one

Brayan, Javi and Anita were awesome and made myself and our family very comfortable. The report is small but inviting and is in a good location. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. Whatever you need, the team at Mata To is will do their best to make it happen.

The staff was super nice and very helpful. The hotel is a little far from the main town which makes it quiet and relax to be there. No access to beach, but a great view.
