Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Property was good. Good location, good views.

A few stains on the carpet in our room, the refrigerator no matter how low or high the temperature was set on, froze and ruined food we had stored in there and busted multiple drinks.

The location was better than expected, the pool was very nice, the room was nice

The air conditioner was a bit noisy and the patio door was very heavy and slammed. The restaurant downstairs was smelly and could use a good cleaning.

Proximity to the beach and overall location. Staff was pleasant

Thought the carpet in the room was pretty dirty and the bathroom wasn’t really clean. Hallways and some of the facility decor looked dated. I thought the price was outrageous for the quality received. Not sure if the restaurant attached to the property is owned by the hotel, but we had a rude experience. We went later at night and wanted to get a little bite and some drinks. There were people still being served. Initially couldn’t find someone who worked there and so we just sat down and waited for someone. We were ignored and when we got someone’s attention to ask if they were still serving, they just shook their head and said no. Meanwhile another table was just served drinks. Not really impressed.

Perfect for what we needed!

Older facilities and the Tv was broken, had to call about the fridge being missing.

The location was good, it was quiet, and the staff was great.

The parking. Not enough spaces had to park around the corner.
