Very friendly staff. Had our room ready early. Was a great room and very spacious. Free parking on the beach!

"Room with a view"

We enjoyed our stay at Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Ascend Hotel Collection. While the property is a bit dated, it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved being able to hear the ocean waves from our room. The complimentary tangerines, bananas, coffee, hot chocolate and tea were continuously replenished, and the coffee was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, with a special shout-out to Martina for her outstanding service. The only downside was parking. On-site spaces are limited, and overflow parking is about a block away. Overall, a comfortable oceanfront stay with great service and amenities. We'd definitely return.
