Mantra Southbank Melbourne

We were so happy and treated with such kindness it was just wonderful, we will definitely be looking to stay again thank you. We were in a bind and Mantra helped were so accommodating to us. We are just so grateful. Grate views of Southbank too!

Great place to stay.

Had vouchers so chose this hotel. A good option - 1 bed apartment and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. We opted for only 1 visit from housekeeping - not too bad but empty body wash, no bathmat, crumbs on the kitchen counter - was a bit average. We were also affected by the Melbourne Marathon meaning we could not get our car out of the hotel until late morning. While there were signs up around the hotel a warning email in the week prior would not have gone astray - we then could have made our plans for the day accordingly. Instructions around this event were hazy to say the least! But on the plus side - bed was exceptionally comfortable, unit was clean, and the location - one block from Southbank - ideal.

Fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Getting a little dated in areas but good value for money and well positioned for access to Rod Laver Arena and MCG events.

We had an incredible stay, thanks to the wonderful front desk team! A special shoutout to William, the manager—his humour made our experience even more enjoyable. The school holidays with our kids were fantastic, and they absolutely loved the heated pool. Our spacious apartment was not only comfortable but also impeccably cleaned, showing great attention to detail. Every member of the staff we encountered was fantastic and added to our positive experience. Would we come back? Absolutely! We can’t wait for our next visit!

Great location other than the current noisy construction site next door and noisy main road. Easy walk to Rod Laver Arena and CBD. Great sized 2 bedroom apartment, comfortable beds, property is a little dated, but great for the price.

Everything was old, from bed, furniture, carpet to toilets etc. Fridge was not functional and our fresh fruits went stale. Exhaust fan was all greasy. Exhaust cover fell off when I tried to use it. Swimming pool was large and good but jacuzzi pool looked unhygienic.

Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment for the AFL grand final weekend. Great location, friendly staff that try to accommodate requests. Restaurant that was connected only does breakfast, higher rating would have been given if they opened for dinner and/or drinks

Staff at reception were excellent.
