The room photos are unrepresentative. You are staying in a 15 year (new) block out the back, which was built to accommodate for weddings. It’s basically a premier inn built in the car park. You are not staying in the main pub or house. It is unfairly represented in my opinion. The rooms are fine but over priced so minimum standard. No hot water in shower Nosy at night from wedding party opposite. Awful stay

Our room had lots of wasps flying round and even more dead ones on the carpet! The furniture is at least 30 years old and there were cobwebs everywhere.

Noisy carpark road surface

The room was quite dark, but clean and comfy. The pub and restaurant are lovely.

The breakfast definitely could have been better. 3 tables before us had been waiting 45+ mins for their breakfast. Ours came out after 30 mins and it was cold and missing quite a few elements so we had to go ask them.

Clean, quiet and perfect for what I was there for.

All good not complaints or dislikes

The staff were friendly and the property is beautiful but not very well maintained or cleaned.

The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was not very clean and very dark because of the decor. The bathroom toilet and shower were very cramped. The toast at breakfast was cold. Given the amount we paid and the nature of the building we were very disappointed.
