Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu

We have experienced the best customer care here. ALL of the staff are super friendly, lovely smiling faces and they cannot do enough for you. Everyone always says hello and they all speak perfect English. The choice of food at breakfast is endless, with something for everyone. You are never rushed and any request is met with enthusiasm and care. We were looked after on the first breakfast by Chantel - OJT and the management team also came round to say hello. The room is very comfortable, fabulous comfy pillows and the pool and private beach well maintained. Evening meals are reasonably priced and there is a lovely singer in the evening. All in all would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. 🤩

I have been coming to Moving Pick for a while now and I must say the experience has gotten even greater and better than before. There is a unique family like atmosphere here at MovenPick. Let’s start with the safety. The gate is always secure and creates a safe environment. Vic and AJ greets me at the hotel entrance with most pleasant smile and sets the tone. They always handle my bags and answer any questions I may have. Then we have the front desk personnel which is run exceptional well with Fer a contagious smile , Gabby , Ken and Melch This time I’m going to give big kudos to the breakfast team they are true professionals at there customer service and taste of prepared foods. This is 5 star restaurant. Danta the chef is totally awesome! to include Lester, Justine, the Intern staff Mark , Midielle , Jeralica Angeline. If you will be here for a few days the entertainment is on another level it’s a must see event , you have to take in some of the entertainment. I want to also thank Miss Katrina Gerbabuena for her recommendations on the attractions available and current events.

The hotel is in a very good location and is very clean and neat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. I would definitely come back.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Movenpick Cebu, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. Despite multiple attempts to resolve an issue with their reservations department, I have received nothing but broken promises and a complete lack of follow-through. I initially reached out to Rigel and Kit, the heads of the reservations department, who assured me they would assist in resolving the issue. However, after repeated follow-ups, neither of them bothered to return my calls or provide any meaningful updates. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has left me feeling completely disregarded and ignored. What’s even more disheartening is the apparent lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by the team at Movenpick Cebu. It feels as though my concerns have been brushed aside, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s an underlying issue of racial discrimination or some form of bias at play here. I’ve never encountered such a dismissive attitude when dealing with customer service, especially from a supposedly reputable brand like Movenpick, which is affiliated with Accor. It is deeply troubling that a luxury hotel chain would allow its employees to treat customers with such disregard. I’ve invested a significant amount of time and effort into resolving this matter, but it seems that Movenpick Cebu is not interested in offering any real solutions. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable, and I will be considering alternative options in the future when booking accommodations. Thank you, Accor, for associating with establishments like this that lack the basic principles of customer service, professionalism, and respect.

My parents had a wonderful experience at Movenpick Mactan Cebu! I would like to especially commend Mr. John Morante for going the extra mile. Thank you so much for assisting us with the hotel reservation for my parents, who celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary! He was very nice, patient, and always available to help. His dedication and genuine care made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The company is truly blessed to have someone like him, he is such an asset to the team! I went to Movenpick Mactan just as a side trip after work and availed their night use voucher. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and staff were courteous. Food was good and service was nice as well. I’d like to commend Kim Ryan and Jhy for making me feel welcome in the Sails restaurant even if i was there solo. :)

Enjoyed a pleasant stay at Movenpick—excellent breakfast service and warm hospitality made the experience relaxing and memorable. Would gladly return for the comfort and quality.
