Club Fiji Resort

Although we ended up having a nice stay it wasn't a very good start. I booked an airport shuttle that didn't turn up so we got a taxi and got overcharged then as our flight was late we arrive and after hiking up 3 flights of stairs to our room we had a king size bed instead of twin beds. I went back to reception and get told it's late we cant change it now so come back in the morning. Also NO dinner as food service was finished so after travelling for 12 hours we were starving and ended up having vodka for dinner thanks to duty free at airport 😀 spent half the day in pool the next day after a nice breakfast. It's a mini buffet style so you help yourself but have to ask for pancakes or eggs as it was empty both days we went. The pizza was great upstairs in restaurant behind the pool we didn't get to go in due to some renovations/maintenance during the day. Nice garden, nice beach and plenty of lounge chairs under umbrellas to enjoy a cocktail or 2.

Booked the Club Fiji Oct 20 to 24 for a ocean front bure. Our initial flight was cancelled so we arrived at the resort a day late. We got in at 2 AM and there was no one there. The security guard did not seem to know what to do with us so put us in a hot and stuffy second floor room at the back of the resort. The next day we received our bure. On checkout I questioned a refund for the price differential of the room and the bure for that one night. I was told to contact reservations but they did not get in until after we left. When home I made the request for a refund of the price differential. I never received a reply even after a few emails. I had a 30 day international plan on my phone so on the last day I called the resort and asked why did I not get a reply. The next day I got an email that said the room we were put in was a deluxe garden view room and it was more expensive than the ocean front bure. In whose world is that ever true! So I went online and booked a couple of nights, took a snip of the difference in price and emailed it to them showing that their statement was not true. As expected there was no reply. Very disappointed in the management of Club Fiji

The resort is a lovely 25 minute drive from Nadi Airport. Before arriving at the resort you go down a dirt road and then low and behold the resort appears. The greeting was lovely. Check in was quick. The staff are friendly and I loved hearing "Bula!" Our porter's were friendly and carried out luggage to our 3rd floor room. The room was clean, adequate and comfortable. There were 3 of us and the single bed I slept on was comfy. There was also a king bed. The room is spacious and the aircon and fan worked well. Happy hour by the pool and the beach is just a few metres away. There are private villas is that's more your style! Thoroughly enjoying my stay.

I had a fantastic experience at Club Fiji Resort. The beachfront location is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious with plenty of fresh options. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy the ocean, and experience real Fijian hospitality. I would happily stay here again!

This is a good, relaxed mid range resort very handy for the airport and good for a short break. We stayed for 2 nights twice, separated by a couple of nights away. First in a ground floor room and then on the top floor. Although appointed similarly the upper floor was much nicer because of the view but also being at tree canopy level for watching the birds. You get a safe, toiletries, kettle and fridge. Tv with BBC world and even a clothes dryer and iron, useful if you’re travelling and need to wash clothes. I was surprised they didn’t give you bottled water and their tea bags are very poor quality. I would have expected these things as standard in a tourist class hotel. Some services are a bit flaky. We arranged an airport pick up for our second stay but because our plane was 15 minutes late the driver didn’t bother to wait. The other odd thing is that they say breakfast is until 10.00 but in fact if you arrive after 09.30 most will be gone and they won’t even give you a coffee. Get there early! Otherwise the food is very good. Basically we enjoyed our two mini breaks.

⭐ 1/5 – Worst Resort Experience I’ve Ever Had I booked a beachfront bure for $1,700 and expected a relaxing stay, but my experience at Club Fiji Resort was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Breakfast: There was essentially no breakfast provided. When I politely asked the waitress if I could have some eggs, she rolled her eyes and walked away. It’s the first time I’ve stayed somewhere where the “included breakfast” meant no food at all or stale rice bubbles and warm milk. Customer Service: I encountered rude reception staff multiple times. Instead of helping, they often seemed annoyed by even simple questions. When my room safe turned out to be broken, they tossed the master key across the counter for me to deal with myself. Room Conditions & Safety: My room had a broken front door lock—the lock was stripped—and maintenance actually had to break into my room to let me back in. Because of this, I couldn’t secure the room, and I had to cancel a tour the next morning since it wasn’t safe to leave my belongings inside. When I reminded reception about the issue, all I got was, “Oh yes, I must tell them.” Don't forget I also had the master key to everyone else's safe. My husband had to fix several wooden slats in the room as they had fallen down exposing us to only wire mesh covering the windows and you could see straight through. Health Concerns: During my stay, I suffered what appeared to be severe bed bug bites—around 100 in total I arrived at the resort at approximately 9PM at night and was in my room at approximately 10 PM. How could I have gotten at least 100 mosquito bites in that short amount of time. When I later uploaded photos, the resort’s response was to call me a liar, which was incredibly upsetting and unprofessional. Overall: I stayed one night and checked out the next day because the conditions and service were so unacceptable. Between the lack of breakfast, rude staff, broken room security, bed bug issues, and dismissive responses, this was the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. I will never stay here again. It is a nice hotel with a beach and beatiful surrondings, nice rooms. But breakfast could be a little bit better, there is no shop close to hotel and there is not enough activities in hotel. I find it's good for people who like to chill on a beach. Price for such a room was one of the best in Fiji.

The Bures are old we had no water in the shower for 2 days now extremely hot hardly any cold very easy to get burnt.Some of the staff are friendly but not welcoming, it seems as though we are interrupting their routine. Breakfast is very sparse,not much selection if there is anything left.If you want a glass of wine except a cheap Sav you have to buy a bottle. One of the guests cut her foot, the resort didn’t even have a first aid kit. We have been to Fiji before and had a wonderful time, I would not recommend this resort at all.

We loved our stay at club Fiji, massages were amazing, we loved the friendly dog who hung out on the beach (we called her Lily) but our favourite part was Jaz the bar tender, he went above and beyond for us, the pizzas from next door were great and all the staff in the resort were super friendly

Amazing place. Staff are very friendly. Food is always great. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Always a great stay. Not over crowded, so have space and quietness to relax.
