Schnukkelige kleine Wohnung mit abgeschlossenem Parkplatz. Ein Auto ist aber zu empfehlen....

Hotel bien situé a quelques km du centre historique d'Avignon, cependant la déco est vieillotte, l'évier de la salle de bain était bouche l'eau chaude de la douche était côté froid et déçus du petit déjeuner 15€ a deux pour se retrouver avec si je peux appeler ça un petit buffet corn flakes et riz souffle, quatre quart marbre chocolat sec!!! Yahourt lidl sans goût jus d'orange, lait, café, the ahhhhh le point positif croissant pain aux chocolat( mais quantité minime). L'accueil a été plutôt chaleureux ce qui l'a emporté sur la note de l'hôtel.

We booked for 2 nights as the site states it has Luxurious accommodation, Free Wi Fi, twin rooms, free parking. We booked a twin room as we are travel companions not partners. Upon arrival we were told there were no twin rooms but could upgrade to a studio room for an extra fee. We were also offered a disabled room with single beds for an extra $10 per night - is this not discrimination towards disabled people and false advertising? They finally waived the extra fee and we were sent down the road to their other site "the one with the pool". When we arrived we found: * the pool was empty * room had to be swept as there were bugs and leaves that had blown in and had obviously not been cleaned for some time * when we went to use the bathroom we found the floor tiles weren't grey but white ones that were filthy - We would have left at this stage however our payment had already been charged on the card prior to our arrival * free wifi didn't work and there was no phone to ring reception, when we returned to reception this was reputed and told it did work and to try again as it must have been our computers. In the 7 weeks we have been travelling this was the first time we had a problem so knew it was not our PCs The next day when we met the manager he agreed that it didn't work in the room we were occupying. When checking in we confirmed about the wifi as it was essential for us as we need to communicate with family in Australia whilst travelling. The manager opened a breakfast room near our room for us to use that night but we only had one hour wifi use. *After a day spent in Avignon we returned to find the room had not been serviced, more apologies ' they forgot to tell housekeeping the room was occupied', we were handed fresh towels and told it would be done tomorrow - we were leaving the next day! This facility has a lot of potential if it was given a extreme "spruce up", BUT most importantly it needs people who care about the customer - there was nil customer service at this hotel and as a booking agency I would be checking it out before any further referrals.

We got a lot of space and facilities (fridge, hob, microwave etc) for the money so were not expecting anything flashy. It was comfortable and totally unpretentious and therefore suited us very well. In many ways it is a halfway house between a proper hotel and a gite. The proprietor and his staff were friendly and very helpful. We had one hilarious misunderstanding because of our mangled French which lead to us talking at cross purposes for several minutes. (Their English is pretty good for most things actually.) Important things like the toilet and shower were very clean but someone had forgotten to clean out the coffee machine which is why we rate the cleanliness as only "OK".

Good things first: the attention given over the phone before going, the attention by the same lady in the reception on the day of arrival, both very good and friendly. Then the bad things: The room was visibly dirty, the showerhead had fallen off - they promised to repair it but never did!! We paid for the breakfast upon arrival to find next morning that it hadn't been written down (I still had the invoice though) Finally the most horrible: We brought our dog, verified before going that we could bring him and it was no problem at all. When we arrived we left him well fed, walked and watered in our room as we had to attend a wedding (inside the flat with the door locked) only to find upon our return that our dog was alone, outside of our room... Apparently he had been barking and annoyed the rest of the guests but nobody had bothered to call us... Very poor service if you're supposed to be used to dealing with dogs and people living close...

nous avons passés 2 nuits franchement très bien. L'hôtel est dans une zone industrielle mais vraiment à à peine 5 min du centre ville en voiture. L'accueil a été très sympa avec présentation sur carte d'avignon touristique! Le studio prévu a été un F2 (car présence bébé certainement) donc très agréable, assez grand et propre. On n'a pas mangé dedans (sauf le matin) mais on aurait pu (par contre il faut vraiment tout ramener, huile, sel...). Seul point négatif la propreté du lit bébé (sans supplément néanmoins) qui n'était pas top mais, après appel, nous l'ont changé donc... Voilà on recommande donc pour passer qq nuits pas trop cheres mais c'est pas trop pour la lune de miel...

Les impressions sont: personne à la réception, obligé d'attendre 30 minutes, pas de papier toilettes ni de lumière de sdb. Propreté à revoir de près . Le pdj est à 800 m. La piscine est aussi à 800m dans une autre partie de l'hotel.
