Manzi Hotel & Spa

Well worth the stay. The only complaint we had was that the service in the spa was lacking, which was disappointing given this was the main reason we chose the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel - and restaurants - were faultless throughout.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary. Every part of the stay was perfect. Fabulous staff, food, facilities and the il Mosaico restaurant was out of this world..

We booked this hotel through hotels.com. Unfortunately the description of the room we booked did not exist. According to the description our room had three bedrooms and a private pool which basically sold us on the hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that room did not exist. We had a standard room. The hotel did upgrade us for two of the nights to a junior suite to try and make up for hotels.com's mistake. This hotel is in a horrible location in the middle of a city. Your views are of local peoples laundry hanging out to dry and you are serenaded by dogs barking and loud traffic noise. There is not a view of the ocean and taxi rides are extremely expensive if you want to get anywhere from the hotel. On the plus side, the hotel has a shuttle that runs during the daytime and will take you to a few different places. They also give you passes for a beach nearby which is nice. They also have a very nice spa with a hot spring pool. The strange thing about the spa was that the entire time we were there, it was empty. We enjoyed having the hot spring pool to ourselves, but it was strange to go into a spa and never see a therapist or an employee. This rang true throughout the hotel. It always seemed devoid of people. For example we never saw a bartender or a hotel guest at the lobby bar. It almost seemed to be there for show. In certain areas of the hotel. It smelled of sewage. This smell was a turn off a which deterred us from dining at the hotel which is supposed to have a good restaurant. If anyone is planning to visit this island. I would recommend a hotel by the sea.

Very pleasant stay in a well managed hotel with good attention to detail. Received a complimentary spa treatment on arrival which was a nice touch.

A beautiful hotel, where the staff make you feel like you are part of their family rather than just a paying customer. The free shuttle service they offer around the Island was in effect like having a personal driver for the duration of my stay. I will definitely return, this time with my family and make use of the luxurious spa facilities. The room was large and had a beautiful balcony where I could work in peace and quiet. Tremendous value for money and a 5 star experience!

Third visit to Terme Manzi. As always excellent accommodation,staff friendly, went to thermal pool every day

My husband and I stayed for one week at the Terme Manzi Hotel and I wish it was longer. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic facilities. Our room had a terrace that overlooked the town piazza and we felt like we were watching a Fellini movie. Our room was very large with ample close space and a great bathroom. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is superb. From the owner to the manager, Beatrice, to the front desk, restaurant personnel, drivers and cleaning personnel, all were friendly and would go out of their way to fulfill any request. The indoor thermal pool is amazing and the roof top pool is superb. Breakfast is wonderful with a wide variety of food including requests for items that are not on the buffet. The spa personnel are extremely talented and I had two amazing massages and cold mud therapy which I highly recommend. Relaxing in the lantern candlelit garden in the evening is magical and there is nightly entertainment to help create a very relaxing Italian style mood. I highly recommend this hotel for an extraordinary experience of rest, renewal, and indulgence. This hotel met everyone of our expectations and beyond. Thank you to all for making our stay very memorable.

FANTASTIC - the staff were welcoming, spoke excellent English and the facilities were outstanding. The 2* Michelin restaurant is worth the trip alone.

an excellent hotel for people who want an overall outstanding experience. Rooms were a little smaller than I expected, Same for the pool, and the indoor pool can't be used for under 12's. Outdoor pool is on the roof and we were there in late June and in the afternoon it got very windy even when sunny. Staff are very very good and the food is truly excellent. The evening in the main restaurant was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The hotel is up the hill and actually there is a bit of road noise when sitting outside. A great hotel but not one for a family of young children I feel

The service was great and the staff was very attentive. I was nervous about the location because it seemed out of the way, but the shuttle really makes up for it. The spa was a nice benefit. Breakfast was great as you get to try all the local Ischian honey!
