Hotel Chichen Itza

Beautiful property, rooms were nice and clean. Excellent location for going to the Chichen Itza site when it first opens (which is an excellent idea!)

very well located - 5 min to CI by car, next to supermarket and a short walk to lots of restaurants. nice pool area and garden - didn’t use but looked nice had gorgeous little puppies!

rooms quite old - not great lighting and the mattresses not the most comfy. bedcovers could do with renewal quite noisy

Friendly welcome when we arrived and help with suitcases. Our room was at the back so fairly quiet. Room adequate for a one night stay. Great location for visiting Chicken Itza.

Very slow breakfast service so leave plenty of time if you want an early start. It isn't a buffet so you will have to wait to be served a fairly average breakfast. Allow at least 45 minutes.

Everything is perfect

It's 5 minutes away from Chichen Itza, that's very convenient. The restaurant staff was very kind. They offered to get us a private guide. He was really good.

Beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Only two pillows on the king bed, but we managed to get more for the second night. Dark room and bathroom.

This hotelgets a mixed review. The place has helpful friendly front desk staff, a great outdoor breakfast service, and a nice view of a central pool and garden (accompanied by chorus of forest birds each evening). We were able to get easy taxi transport to the ruins site. The rooms are generally nice but a bit dark and damp, so check options once your arrive. There is an onsite restaurant (apart from the breakfast service) that serves bland tasteless food, but you can explore other restaurants along the stretch of road that it is on.
