Great staff and service
USUSUSLocated on Black River with scenery galore. Historic with lots of public spaces. Indoor hottub spa open year round. Outdoor pool is seasonal. Food is excellent. Tavern/bar well stocked.
Hot water in shower/tub make take a little while to warm up. Expected with historical property.
This property offerw elegance without opulence. It feels cozy, the food is delicious, the staff all go out of their way to make you feel at home. The hot tub is wonderful after a cold day of skiing or a walk.

I did not have consistent hot water in bath. mostly cool. one shower I took was actually hot.,
Echo lake inn is a cosy bed and breakfast a few miles from Okemo ski resort. It has a lovely character with a shared sitting room with a fireplace and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a few days skiing and it was a lovely respite after a day on the slopes. The breakfast was great and there was a games room downstairs with a pool table etc. The only drawbacks are there is no elevator and not a lot of hot water for showers at times. The surroundings are very pretty and it would be a lovely location at all times of the year. There are a number of fun restaurants a short driving distance away.
