Oakridge Resort Lake Wanaka

No dining options and quite far from town

Great location if you want to head out early to ski Cardrona in the Cardrona valley unfortunately it’s a hike to town so you need to taxi in and I’ve found taxis are expensive and unreliable in Wanaka. The pool complex was great for having a spa after skiing. Very nice. The rooms were clean and tidy but very tired and in need of a makeover it was disappointing as our heater wasn’t appearing to work, the fridge froze all our milk and beer and the heated towel rail had been disconnected and the plug blanked over so wet towels.

Was a good stay, affordable, however would’ve appreciated room service daily as room floor became dirty quite quickly. Otherwise, enjoyed stay.

Unit was not very clean, especially the bathroom but the amenities, gym and pools were great

The property was very good, facilities were great.i recommend staying there. But book directly with them. I booked through wotif and needed to change booking and cancell one room... wotif had a zero$ refund and u have to "speak " to a computer assistant, which did not work easily..even filling in this review on the wotif site dodoes not open the window big enough to see what u are typing. ,dont use wotif

Good place to stay. Room was a bit noisy- I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. Nice pools and hot tubs with a friendly and helpful staff.
