Hilton Garden Inn Tupelo

It was in a better part of town a the staff were friendly.

It was dirty and our room smelled old and musty. The bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning was so deafeningly noisy. The shower in the room above was so loud and sounded like you were in a waterfall. The icing on the cake was the hotel was full of school kids who were shouting ant running up and down the corridor until past 1am.

Nice location, good places to grab something to eat, conveniently located next to the Cadence Bank Area.

Parking can be a little tight and with an event going on at the Arena next door. I wish there was better enforcement of parking on the property.

Great surrounding area and exceptional staff, but this hotel was lacking. It needs serious updating and the hallways were scented extremely heavily with air fresheners. The sofa in our room had a massive stain and all furniture was worn.

Everything was fine. The staff was friendly, especially the bartender.

It was clean and close to everything we wanted to do and see. Great for a quick stopover.

It’s not the standard of the UK Hilton hotels, and the food offered is of a lower quality than expected at a Hilton.

Floor was wet when I got there.

Older hotel with water damage, charging way more per night than everything else around it. The room I had should have cost $60/night, not the $170/night I paid. Room was very rough, stained sheets, rusty lamps, missing light bulbs, constant damp in the room, shower head not connected properly spraying everywhere, and the toilet squealed every time it was flushed.

Rooms need an update ASAP

The breakfast was fine.

We were traveling with a well-behaved dog. Our room smelled like urine the moment we walked in. It was awful. . ( I believe we were in room 145). I had to pay a 50$ non refundable pet fee to be in a room that had an overpowering urine smell. We were exhausted from a day of moving. We had previously stayed at that same Garden Inn which was a good experience in September, which is why we stayed there again, this time with a pet. Not sure what the 50$ non refundable fee is for. Obviously not using it to clean room carpets. Also, on another subject, the stench of marijuana was pretty significant in the hallway. Between the stench of urine in the room and “pot” stench in the hallway, terribly disappointing, and to pay 175$+ , no thank you, will be staying across the street at Tupelo Hotel next time. :(

Excellent stay all around. Will stay again.
