So we show up right? Bags in hand, thinking maybe we’ll finally have a nice, relaxing trip. HA. Silly me. First thing after check-in, we’re immediately shuffled over to get our car tag, and BAM instant ambushed by the Timeshare sales team again (they really never stop) and it is like it’s some weird game of “Survivor: Resort Edition.” And here I am, politely saying no thank you, just trying to start my trip. But apparently, “no” is just a suggestion to these people. When I told the woman (clearly ignoring my polite decline) that I was not doing a meeting, she actually said, “Well then you can just pay full price for your hot air balloon ride.” And I was like oh honey, I absolutely will do just that! I’d rather burn cash midair than sit through another one of those pressured, twisted, and manipulated situations they call a "presentation." And just when I thought we were in the clear… My daughter shows up for her room. I had requested that our rooms be TOGETHER. But of course, didn’t happen. I was in building 14 and my daughter was in building 15. Does that sound together to you? Because apparently in “BlueGreen World” it means “together.” Then guess what? She gets ambushed too. Same dance, new partner. The man literally tried to hit her with the SAME EXACT MEETING PITCH! Like sir, do you not have notes? We have said NO like it’s our full-time job. I had to go full mama bear and get visibly upset before they backed off. Phone calls, in person, day after day. I’m not on vacation anymore it feels like. Instead, I am in Bluegreen Timeshares Bootcamp. The room? Oh, it looked decent — which is code for: wait till you touch stuff. That shower floor was SLIMY! Gross! So yes, I showered in water shoes because I didn’t feel like getting athlete's foot on vacation. Cute, right? The fan in the living room looked like it hadn’t been dusted since before COVID. The grill had no tools (I mean because, why would it? Again, thinking the Bluegreen Timeshare Bootcamp way at this point), so we went out and bought our own like it was BYOG — Bring Your Own Grill Tools!!! And the floor? Oh, I found out real quick what was hiding in that carpet. I put on brand new white socks Monday morning and 30 minutes later they looked like they had been through a mud run. We literally laid out towels to walk on from the bed to the bathroom because we didn’t want the dirt to track in bed.  All in all? Not shocked. Not surprised. Just officially done. This whole Bluegreen ownership nonsense has been a total regret. I wanted vacations. I want grill tools. I want relaxation! NOT harassment, dirt floors, and weirdly passive aggressive balloon ride threats. At this point, I think I am more than owed my money back!

The property was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. We had a full kitchen and seperate bedroom. It was like having a one bedroom apartment. The pool was great and had a lazy river and water slide. I just wish the pool was a little cooler (we stayed in July). Overall, awesome place to stay.

The pressure to do a tour to get parking pass.

I wanted time to write and reflect. I asked for an upper flow with a room looking onto the mountains instead of the water park. It was beautiful! (You probably do not want one on the ground floor.) They do have elevators which you need to ask to be placed near. The food trucks has excellent food. (The ants near the pool are QUICK, so don't leave food to swim. 😬) I would go here again. The issue I had work the sliding glass security bar was rapidly fixed by maintenance.

Love this location.
