Friendly City Inn B&B

We walked to the cute downtown Harrisonburg for dinner which had a college town feel. The beds were super comfy and the breakfast was delicious! The old victorian home was charming and in great condition! We highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Harrisonburg. We would definitely go back :)

We stayed here for our 49th wedding anniversary. The Inn was very clean and close to the town of Harrisonburg. We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner and to the Farmer's Market. We loved the outdoor seating area and the grounds were will tended. The breakfast was very delicious and generous. Our room was spacious and quiet. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the Inn

We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. Fresh chocolate chip cookies on arrival, great dining recommendations, and a lovely historic Inn to learn about. As we were leaving early in the morning and would not be able to stay for breakfast the Innkeeper offered to have breakfast to go for us, and it was delicious! The most amazing thing was that my daughter inadvertantly left a treasured stuffed animal. The Innkeeper offered to ship it to our destination which stopped the tears and made one girl very very happy. We highly recommend the Inn!

Amazing breakfast and homemade cookies! We loved the seating area outside, and our room was very comfortable. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we're in Harrisonburg.

Loved the historic house and breakfast was wonderful. I am on a restricted diet and they were very accommodating.

The light in the bathroom was so dim we could hardly see. Also, the bed felt a little like we were sleeping with our heads downhill.

We have been visiting the Friendly City Inn for years. It is our favorite place to stay in Harrisonburg. The facility is wonderful and the staff is fantastic - so pleasant and professional. Fresh, homemade cookies is just one of the special details they offer.

Great place to stay in Harrisonburg. Delicious breakfast, lots of charm and excellent service. Rooms have charm, nice size, sheets and bed were super comfortable. Outdoor porch for dining is a nice break as well.

Our first time staying in a B&B - it was very nice, homey.

Not much you can do, but the noise from other guests. It’s an older home, creaky floors, thin walls/doors. I think people just forget where they are. Nevertheless, we were comfortable.

The room was beautiful. We stayed in the Blue Ridge room, the amenities were very good. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Had a very restful and peaceful night and experience. it’s close enough to walk into town for any restaurant you want or to go to the cafés.
