This Inn is definitely a step into history. The grounds are beautiful and from the moment you step into the foyer, you know you're someplace special. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the breakfast can't be beat, and the antiques throughout give the place a classic vibe. Can't recommend it enough!

This is our 3rd stay at Friendly City Inn. Becca is a great host. Her breakfast is always very good. She is so friendly and gracious. Kyle also made are stay very pleasant. He contacted us to say we could check in early. I visit Harrisonburg every year and the Friendly City in is the only place I’ll stay.

"Bed & Breakfast Gem"

Nestled in Harrisonburg’s historic lies a gem. The Friendly City Inn was a fortunate fluke. We came from NY to pack up our daughter from JMU and were lucky they had availability. What a treat! I’m an architect and loved the Queen Anne/ Grand New England style of this home. Beca and her team of Kyle and others were fantastic and made us feel welcome and right at home. Did I mention the amazing gourmet breakfast? My only regret- we didn’t discover FCI sooner.

"Wonderful B&B. Highly recommend."

Excellent B&B. Very close to Biltmore Estate. Kyle, the Inn Keeper was so helpful, and greeated us at the door. Showed us to our room, helped us bring our luggage in and upstairs to our room. Answered all our questions and was very attentive. Breakfast was wonderful and prepared to our liking. We highly recommend this beautiful home and outstanding service.

"Relaxed in Harrisonburg"

Spent a very pleasant night on our way to Monticello. Becca is warm and welcoming. The B&B is a short walk to town. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and would have liked to stay longer.

"Lovely B&B in a beautiful old house."

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and the property had a lot of old world charm.

The room smelled like someone had been smoking in there. The lighting in the tiny bathroom was very poor.
