"Excellent Choice"

We chose this inn for its convenient location as we traveled north in the Shenandoah Valley. We were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. Cleanliness was top rate, beds very comfortable, and the decorating scheme soothing. The host was very accommodating and welcoming, and the excellent breakfast was served on the pleasant deck among the trees. We will happily return.

"Spring Getaway"

The Friendly City Inn lives up to its name. It was a great base for a quick mother-daughter trip to the Shenandoah Valley. Kyle and Becca were welcoming but not intrusive. The bed was really comfortable and the room had a nice view of Harrisonburg and the mountains beyond. The breakfasts were amazing and the afternoon cookies were great after a day of hiking. We’ll definitely be back

"Friendly City Inn B&B is well-named"

We have made dozens of trip to Harrisonburg over the past 15 years, but the Friendly City Inn is our new, favorite place. Becca, Joel and Kyle were amazingly pleasant and professional. We really enjoyed the accommodations and the wonderful meals. Our college kids look forward to our next visit ( . . . probably so they can enjoy breakfast by Becca). Please do yourself a favor and give them the opportunity to spoil you, too. JSP

I will keep this short and sweet. The hospitality from before we got there was kind, when we got there so tired and exhausted we were welcomed with a smile! The room was spacious and beautiful (Shenandoah). The mornings, we were welcomed with a smile and a tasteful breakfast! Someday if we make it back we’ll for sure stay again! Thank you Friendly City B&B for your pleasant hospitality, clean room and yummy breakfast!

"Historic Charm and Fabulous Breakfasts"

Friendly City Inn is a charming historic home with the best breakfasts around. It's clean and comfortable, and Becca, Joel, and Kyle are wonderful hosts who always make me feel welcome. Each room is beautiful and unique, and my goal is to stay in all of them. The public areas of the inn are lovely, too, and include both indoor and outdoor areas. The inn is conveniently located near downtown and the university. Highly recommended.
