The hotel exudes old world charm with its perch high above Lake Lugano. The lake view rooms offer an extraordinary view and are worth booking. We did not eat at the hotel as we were visiting friends elsewhere, but it looked very good and also had an outstanding view. The service is five star with staff trying to meet your every request kindly.

Dear Park Hôtel Principe Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel. I had originally booked for five nights (from 23/10/2025 to 28/10/2025) but decided to leave after two due to several issues that made my stay uncomfortable. The heating system was not functioning properly, the room and view did not correspond to what was shown online, and the overall quality of the stay was below expectations. In addition, I was very surprised by the cost of electric vehicle charging — approximately 40 CHF (around 50 euros) — whereas nearby hotels provide free charging for their guests. Despite my early departure, I was charged for all five nights, including breakfasts and city taxes for the three unused days. I believe it would be fair to refund the amount corresponding to the unused nights, breakfasts, and related taxes, as those services were not provided. I sincerely hope we can resolve this matter amicably. Otherwise, I will have to share my full experience and detailed review on all major public platforms (Google, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor). I am certain that such visibility could cost the hotel much more than the refund itself. Please let me know how you wish to proceed so we can close this matter in a fair and respectful way.
