Lilac Inn

The inn keeper was actually out on errands when we arrived and had our room key on the counter for us with a sweet little note. Our room was so cute and quaint, everyone from the inn was friendly and the breakfast options were delicious both days. Very quiet place and we'll definitely be back in the spring

The grounds are beautiful with gorgeous flowers and nice walkways. The stroll to downtown was enhanced by a farmers market going on every Friday. The TVs are difficult to figure out with multiple remotes, and no info. in the rooms as to how to use them?!? Overall a great place to stay with a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. We hope to return again! Thank u!

It was fine for the area. Quaint and laid back. Especially okay for the price. As expected it’s creaky and dated. The only real criticism would be the towels-pretty worn out. But comfy bed.

I guess I am used to smaller B&B when the owner is present at breakfast and greets their guests and is interested in how they plan to spend their day. This was run more like a hotel. You order your breakfast and there was no friendly chatting with other guests. I missed the coziness of getting to know the other guests which is usually started by a friendly owner who is interested in setting a warm atmosphere. That is one major reason I stay at B&B to meet fellow travelers....this was lacking. I think this B&B is more suited for weddings. I thought in the small town in Vermont I would have felt more like a guest than a stranger.

Highly recommend Lilac Inn. Perfect location in beautiful neighborhood close to the center of Brandon. Breakfast was delicious; room was lovely; numerous common rooms with games, books, and videos to enjoy; both Inn and grounds beautifully maintained; owner and staff friendly and very helpful.

The property, rooms, and owners were all wonderful. We had an excellent stay and would recommend the Lilac Inn to anyone looking to stay in small town Vermont.

The property was tastefully furnished, staff and owner very accommodating, homemade breakfast was delicious, and hope to return.

We had a one-night stay at the inn and found it very comfortable, ideally located on a lovely street with walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodations were clean. There were many places to sit either on a porch, in the garden or one of the many common rooms. And, they served the loveliest most delicious breakfast. Good cup of coffee, a fruit platter, cinnamon muffin and then a choice of main. The fruit was an assortment of several types and each was ripe and sweet. A great way to start our long day of sightseeing.

We had a very nice stay at the Lilac Inn. Plenty of off street parking. Check in check out was smooth. We stayed in room 8. It was clean with a friendly staff. Breakfast was very good! Nice friendly small town Vermont! It's a 10!
