Front desk check in wasn't overly welcoming and didn't share basic information such as breakfast times.

Great location, right in the city centre. Check-in was smooth, our air conditioner didn't work unfortunately, but we called reception and got a new room immediately. Reception was always visible and helpful and kind. The cleanliness was above my expectation, everything was nice and cozy, pillows super comfortable. Outside of the hotel during the weekend nights there was a big gathering of homeless people and drunks shouting etc., unfortunately that's not the hotel's fault but it's a fact. I didn't feel unsafe because I was with my (male) partner but I would have felt unsafe if I was alone coming back to the hotel from a night out. Maybe if you stay during the weekend it's better to ask for a higher floor, we stayed on the 10th, and couldn't hear the street noise but i assume you can from lower levels. Breakfast was an absolute FEAST! We paid £8/person and everything was super tasty and fresh, we loved it. You also have the option to go to the spa of the neighbour hotel, and if you ask on reception you can get a discount for it. We had a good swim and sauna session, it was great. All in all I would definitely stay again, nice location, good food, friendly staff, clean room. Thank you!

Near to the station for easy access into London on the Elizabeth’s line. The television worked well and the shower the toilet flush and the cold water supply. There was also an opening window with a security cable which allowed fresh air into the room. There was a chair and a desk suitable to work on and a comfortable bed and a wardrobe. The design of the room was quite innovative.

The Ruff nature of the St outside with Ruff sleepers literally next door at the Yorkshire building Society hide degree of litter on the streets in the early morning after the night before, but I accept this is not within the hotels remit.

Its proximity to the town and Reading station.

The breakfast could have been warmer, the plates are always cold and the orange and apple juice (I think it was apple juice it was so watery) wasn’t very nice.

Air conditioned room and good breakfast with friendly staff

Clean, comfortable centrally located hotel in Reading, less than five minutes' walk from the railway station. So convenient. Delicious buffet breakfast, and the entire cooked breakfast was gluten free. Staff friendly and helpful. Very close to some great stores, such as M&S and John Lewis. Like many large town and cities the centre of Reading isn't a great place to be an unaccompanied female at night (not the hotel's fault!) but the hotel is a great place to retreat to. Outside noise contained by shutting the windows. The hotel serve pizzas 24 hours a day, which would be good for families, and there is a little bar downstairs, and Novotel just next-door. This was my second visit and I hope to stay there again later this year.

Location was good for town centre

Noisy outside hotel which is out of hotels hands and also some guests were a little rowdy..I love my English breakfast but was not overly keen on the sausages
