Very friendly and helpful dining room/restaurant wait staff. Great location, central, with best views in town.

The annoying and repeated upsell at front desk for massage and souvenir shop. It was really annoying and made us completely avoid them When they could not supply speedboat transfer from Phnom Penh due to insufficient other customers, only options offered were private speedboat at more than five times the price or road transfer. They could have advised us of Hang Chau speedboat that leaves right outside the front door at half the price of the road transport (two people) and did a great job but elected not to.

Third time staying at the Victoria, Chau Doc. It has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and feels more like home than a hotel. The staff treated us like friends rather than guests. The location is essential for the speedboat to and from Phnom Penh. All in, it's a memorable experience.
