De badkamer heeft een opfrisbeurt nodig : Douchescherm ontbreekt Toiletbril was oud en versleten Problemen met warm water ( enkele dagen moeten douchen met koud water )

J'ai adoré leur œufs

I know this hotel since I’m a little girl, about 30 years ago, and there’s not a person in the country that doesn’t know the Savana Hotel, it’s such a mythical and famous place in Dakar, it used to be the classiest and most beautiful hotel of the capital in the 80s, 90s. And until today we can still see the prestige of it. Unlike all other luxury hotels, it kept its authenticity and didn’t become yet a soulless place, renovated and modernized. So it’s definitely the right moment to stay there before it gets entirely renovated too… which will be a pity because it is just perfect the way it is… We can’t expect more from a hotel. Maybe some bits and pieces of renovations, true. But please don’t look at small details, look at the overall picture, the style is so charming, the architecture is simply magical, decorations and designs are amazing, the work of wood in the rooms shows the talent of the local carpenters, everything is so well thought of. Without speaking of the kindness of the staff, the beauty of the place, the perfect location, how diverse and tasty breakfast is, the incredible Olympic pool, the enchanting gardens, the unique views, the spaciousness of the rooms, the comfort of the bed and sheets… etc. Thank you to all the staff (breakfast restaurant, reception, cleaning, pool, bar…) for the extraordinary stay, and well done!
