This Hotel is no where near a 5 star hotel. 3 Star at Best! Don’t stay here. The carpets in the room are so old, warn and nasty - who knows what’s growing in them. The HVAC system in the hotel is horrendous. Spent 3 nights in two rooms with literally no air and no proper ventilation. They have old preset thermostats that don’t work so BEWARE if you like it slightly cool at night to sleep or even have any kind of fan to circulate the air — won’t happen at this hotel. I was offered a non working standing fan for my room abd a small piece of dark chocolate. Simply could not breathe at night - even with switching rooms. I can’t imagine this place when the weather continues to get warm outside. Breakfast buffet - adequate - equivalent to a lower end Marriott or Hilton. Not high quality. Average at best Ugh. So sorry I chose to stay here. Didn’t sleep for 3 nights! Not close enough or really convenient to get into the city as advertised. Took Ubers as well as the Metro. Because of traffic each mode took 30-55 minutes to get to restaurants, sights, etc. Hotel is in a difficult to reach place for most Ubers where local GPS systems do not recognize the location. Had 3 Ubers get lost . Train station is a good walk away so plan 15-20 minutes and good health to just walk to it to get to the tracks needed for the main line 1 to get to major sites and then another 30 or so minutes on the train itself which are crowded in off season so can’t imagine during tourist season. Many long escalators hear the hotel and at the train station do not work so you will have to be able to climb and descend lengthy none working stairs. I only gave this place 2 stars because of the friendly and nice staff. Do not stay here! Spend a little more and stay in the city.
