The property itself is fantastic. Everything was at least meeting expectations in areas and exceeding in others. I did like the breakfast that my husband brought up to the room, taste wise. It was all in all, a beautiful property.

The staff were extremely rude when asked to make accommodations at check-in. Booking dot com does NOT make customers aware of the $25 incidentals fee the hotel INSISTS on charging you at check-in. Most normal places only ask to put a card on file, so not only was this STRICTLY enforced policy a complete surprise but also very off-putting. I have never had to pay for incidentals AHEAD of time. When asked if exception could be made since I was not made aware of this policy ahead of arrival, the front desk girl refused to accommodate OR call a manager about the issue. To be able to check in without bothering anyone of our friends or family, we would have needed to leave the property almost immediately upon arrival to travel to the nearest reload center for cash app, loaded money onto my card, came back and then we could check in. However, as we were in town for a specific event that had a set start time, we did not have the option to leave and remedy the balance to satisfy this unusual policy…this forced my hand into calling my father to bail me out. I do not like to do this. Ever. It goes against my moral code and makes me feel downright icky. Thanks to the WONDERFUL staff at the front desk, I was put in this situation anyway. Honestly, it was her refusal to call a manager that really irked me. I have since filed a report with the BBB, AR ATTY General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission. IF there is a MANDATORY, no exceptions, policy at the location I’m thinking of booking, THIS POLICY SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED IN LARGE, BOLD PRINT, PRIOR to booking on the website. I insisted that she speak with her manager about policy reform to either include the information in the booking dot com page for their property or to include exceptions for people in my exact situation. I also think it’s important to note that because I asked for this accommodation, the front desk employees were retaliatory and vindictive from that point forward.

This hotel is located very close to the freeway exit, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. It was only 10 minutes to both historic downtown Rogers and Bentonville. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. (The beds were a little hard for me, though.) Breakfast was especially well done with numerous options. We also appreciated having an indoor pool. (Although, a hot tub with the pool would have been a welcome addition.)
