Hampton Inn & Suites Greenville

It was not quiet. There was no sound barriers. The people above my room clearly could hear them walking. And I could hear the elevator at all times of the night.

No carpet in the room was a nice surprise.

Convenient location, friendly staff, continental breakfast buffet had a variety of food options.

Pool was closed for cleaning/treatment on Sunday morning so we didn't get to use it before we checked out.

Great people

During my stay, there was an incident with a family member who has been having some mental health issues. He caused a huge scene in the hotel lobby at around 2:30 in the morning. Linda Pickle Hill happened to be working that night. She called us down to the lobby. She was so helpful, kind, and considerate during a very stressful situation. It was so nice to see such friendly and caring staff at this hotel. She went way beyond what most people would do in a situation like that. I greatly appreciate the help she gave us. I highly recommend this hotel; everyone who works there is very nice and pleasant.
