Hampton Inn Vidalia

It was a wonderful stay was not able to let kids swim cause it was locked down and water was green but other than that I loved my stay

Breakfast was ok but would have been better if potatoes had been included on the menu. Room was clean but I did notice the bathroom wallpaper was coming loose at the seam. My biggest complaint was there were no chairs in the room except for the desk chair. There was a large empty space in the corner of the room to accommodate a recliner or sitting chair, but none was there. The hotel staff said this was normal and no chair could be brought in. We were forced to sit on the bed but could not relax. I won't ever stay here again.

Do not stay at this hotel. This is a Hilton/Hampton hotel but you would think is was run by the being whom own the "your a guest but we don't care". Front desk people are rude and think they are doing you are favor by you staying. I stayed here for a week. I was trying to make it like home but that was impossible because of the front desk help. Let me tell you my story. They have a pool but it was not open during my stay. They have some pool furniture outside. I went a got a portable cheap portable grill to grill some steaks. There are no pool rule you can't grill. One of the front desk employee came outside and set with my while I grilled. Another night when I grill. The front desk person had an attitude with me because my room hadn't been cleaned, I called down to the front desk and this new front desk person had an attitude. I decided to grill again that night, After I was done grilling on the second night the front desk lady with the attitude told me I couldn't grill. I explained I had grilled the night before with the other employee and they said nothing. I told her she couldn't make the rules up as she goes. She called the law on me. The officer told me I wasn't breaking the low. I asked him what he was doing here then. She called the law on me because she was making up the rules as she went. DON'T KNOW STAY AT THE HOTEL. THEY EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND DOING YOU A FAVOR BECAUSE YOU CHOSE TO PAY TO STAY HERE. Take my advice, you are better to sleep in your car.

A good place to spend the night on our trip heading to Florida, comfortable, clean room and a good breakfast.

No pool, no hot-tub, no business center, nothing in the workout facility actually works.

We chose Hampton Inn because we were confident that it would be a decent place to stay. Unfortunately, the property is very run down. Our room had a broken closet door, the shade did not go up, there were no hangera for towels in the batand no toilet paper holder. The ceiling was peeling and the bathtub had not been cleaned out fromthe last people that stayed. It was very disappointing. This is the first bad experience we've had with a Hampton Inn. We would not return to this location.

This was a nice hotel but it was really noisy. I did not sleep at all on Saturday night.

Several things about my recent stay at this hotel really bothered me, and are the reason I’m writing this review. 1). Bed frames are sticking out (see photo) and have created an incredible hazard for obliterating your shins! I had to put pillows on the floor to ensure I would not injure myself 2) lobby was absolutely freezing cold for breakfast! I felt sorry for the staff. Everybody was wearing jackets or coats while eating breakfast both days of my stay. 3) hotel is generally not in great repair. Room doors have big chips out of them. (See photo). Hotel just does not give a great feeling of safety and security. 4) I’m a lifetime Hilton Honors diamond member, and have stayed in Hilton hotels roughly 1000 nights over the past 17 or 18 years. This is the first time I’ve ever been told that I could not slightly extend my check out by one hour, from 11 AM to noon. Every Hilton property gives difference to frequent guests… Except, evidently, the Vidalia Hampton Inn. I had a ton of office work that I needed to get done, but they could not extend this common courtesy to a diamond member. Whenever possible, I try to find alternative options to staying in this hotel. However, sometimes it’s unavoidable. Definitely my least favorite Hampton Inn.
