Inn On The Prom At The Fernlea Hotel

The breakfast is the best I've had in a hotel I'd go just for that

The location was amazing right on the beach front. And has free parking. But sadly this is all it has going for it.

Sadly this hotel was extremely outdated. The room i stayed in the bath was very old and stained. The shower head was leaking and to still have a shower curtain over a bath isnt great at all. They have attempted to decorate the room to modernise it but in places its been rushed and is shabby, cracks, peeling wall paper. The door slams as the closing mechanism isnt working propelry. The window handles were both broken, window pane blown with condensation in it. And the window opens way too wide for safety. You can hear adjoining rooms and the rooms above way too clearly. Such a shame as the hotel could have so much potential.

The pool and location.

The bathroom was pretty dated.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was nice and clean.

The wooden beds, I broke my toe walking past it 🥲

Clean, functional and enough space.

Attempt at modernising but not in all areas. Shower curtain and bath, grotty.
