Room never cleaned for my entire stay. Towels never changed for my entire stay. Staff very rude

Within walking distance of Alvor, however the walk down is quite hilly. Taxis and Ubers into the town are available for those who would find the steep incline/decline difficult. The pools are really nice and spacious, kept quiet clean despite high winds during our stay resulting in some small debris landing on the top of the pool. The man who works in the pool side bar in the evenings is really kind and helpful and the two men in reception are lovely.

Room was not cleaned at all during our stay due to a miscommunication between the reception and cleaning staff. We asked for fresh towels on 3 separate occasions (after being told that the cleaners were due to clean our room that day ((they did not))) and were told that they have no access to towels in reception…? The beds were quite uncomfortable. The rooms are incredibly dated which I don’t mind at all, but the beds really could do with being replaced. Same with the sun loungers!

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Apartment was big enought for all 7 of us. Pool and grounds were beautiful and location was good for price.

Only 1 key to the apartment for 7 people. No key left in the lock box and we thought the swipe cards were for the room but they were for the pool. Had to telephone reception about gaining access to the apartment and then they only had one key! We had to wait for them to come over and let us in. Apartment needs a bit of updating, shower smelled a bit of sewers. Bathdrooms were tiney, you hit your legs off the sink when on the toilet. Also the kitchen sink was crawling with ants all the time, glad we were not there for very long.
