"Quiet oasis, but close to major centres."

Room comfortable. Lots of parking. Great Location - handy for city visits, but quiet location in country. Full English breakfast excellent. Staff, especially at breakfast, very pleasant and helpful.

Noisy fan outside room 19, but didn’t disturb my sleep. A few cracked tiles in bathroom, but cosmetic defect only.

"Lovely hotel"

Lovely relaxed hotel, only stayed one night as visiting family in the area. Room 25 was light and airy and had everything you needed, tea/coffee ect ( no fridge ) including fluffy bathrobes..lovely comfortable bed too! Breakfast was excellent and staff very welcoming. All in all would definitely stay here again.

Lunch in the bar / lounge , bar staff were friendly and helpful and efficient

Room was a jaded and in need of refreshing but it was clean. Good coffee /tea tray. Dinner in the restaurant was very disappointing as our order got missed and we were then told the chef had left after we had waited for nearly an hour for food. The staff on duty were good though , very apologetic and owned the mistake and didn't charge us for the food that we eventually received which was just mains and they could only offer cheese for desert.

A lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful The hotel has lovely grounds and you have a lovely view if you sit outside with a drink Very clean room with everything in it We have stayed here before and will stay again in the future.

"Ambient Manor stay"

Quiet location and ambience Room size Gardens Free parking and WiFi

Cost of drinks. Varied prices even when buying the same items. I asked for the table to be dressed for my husbands birthday but this didn't happen. When booking an executive room the impression given was that it was a four poster bed, it wasn't.

"Lovely hotel"

Lovely drive up to the hotel and managed to park at the front of the hotel. Friendly welcome when I checked in and made to feel very comfortable travelling as a lone female. I stayed in room 20 which had amazing views over the gardens and was perfectly clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. I was woken by people coming up the stairs outside my room after midnight but soon fell back asleep in the comfy beds. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to colleagues and friends too.
