I think we just came at a bad time. The pool was down for maintenance and they had no hot water due to the boiler system malfunctioning. Im sure this doesnt happen all the time...but bad timing on our part.

The room was a lot nicer then the first time staying there. Also the hot water heater was broke for the entire hotel but since we were staying one night it wasn't a big issue.

Normally Ramada hotels are inviting. However, this hotel in Burkburnett, Tx was the worst hotel I have ever visited. 1. The hallway and room carpet was soiled beyond cleaning, permeated a foul smell, and blackened with mold. 2. Caulking around the shower had black mold embedded and the toilet did not flush correctly. 3. I could not control the AC; the fan speed nor the temperature was responsive - it simply turned on and off at will. 4. The swimming pool, literally, had trash floating on it while a sign stated the pool was closed (glad for the clarification). Though I have not stayed at a "pay by the hour" hotel, I'm sure this is what they would look like. I hope this hotel gets their act together.

Towels were new and clean. Bed was girm but comfortable. No waffles and hot pan was not used.
