The building is old and need some updates. The room can be cleaner. However there's not much more choices if you have to stay at Chemult. We paid quite a lot of money for one night, but I guess that's just the market at this time of the year. If you plan to go to Crater Lake, better plan well in advance so you can book the village directly on the Rim drive.
The room is small. There flies that we have to closed the lights to let the flies out. The water in the shower is hard to control either too hot or too cold. Coffee in the morning run out. I woke before 6 am and the lobby was still closed so we have to wait for coffee. The is outdated. The inn need to be upgraded and renovated.
Room was dirty in areas and in need of maintenance. Staff looked in our room and made intentional noise when we were a few minutes late checking out. The room did offer a nice mini kitchen and we generally had a comfortable stay here.
The motel was very clean, staff was friendly and gave recommendations for dinner options.
It smells funny inside like musty so we turned on the A/C to get some air. We couldn’t open the windows because there’s no screens and we didn’t want the bugs coming in. The A/C shut off twice due to a blown fuse for both my room and the one beside me. Both times I had to go to the front desk and tell them because there’s no phone in the room. The room is dirty and the shower stall floor is broken up. The property knows this because they left a plastic shower mat in the bathroom to put down so you don’t cut your feet. The worst thing is that the shower water has an ultra low flow shower head that is a ridiculously small trickle of water. The water pressure was slightly better in the morning but still the worst I’ve ever seen during all my travels. The bar for the shower curtain isn’t secured or fastened to anything. They just placed it on top of the shower stall rim. I didn’t know this at first so the whole thing (bar) fell down on me when I was adjusting the shower curtain. I wish we stayed somewhere else. This was terrible. Definitely not recommended.

I'm not sure it's been updated since it opened on 1926. Shower pressure and temperature were terrible, some outlets didn't work. Beds were actually nice though. Glad we only had one night there
This is the worst accommodations i have ever experienced, you should consider droping this dump!! Actually it has me considering joining best western rewards, there are no surprise I dont mind paying $150.00, but oh my......we got robbed on this stay
Although clean, the room was hot, the refrigerator didn’t work, there was no ice or coffee, there were no cups or glasses by the sink, the shower was barely a drizzle and only warm with only the hot water on and the staff was difficult to communicate with.
it was clean in the room, needs to be updated. shower was horrible. Rooms are noisy. But cheap for a quick stay.
