Grand Hotel

The hotel is under renovation. It is difficult to rate it based on where it is now. Big things look to be happening.

Did not know that the poo, bar and restaraunt was closed and they were remodeling.

Shuttle drivers were very friendly. Pool was unavailable for remodeling. No advance notice had been given. Advertised free breakfast was unavailable for remodeling. Again no advance notice given. Zero customer service at check-in. Slid paper across counter with key and said initial and sign. No communication or directions to elevators, rooms, etc. Very rundown and old hotel.

Sometime around 2am the front desk assigned my room to someone else. Imagine my surprise when someone came into my room. All the front desk said was "I didn't think anyone was in the room". It was a horrible experience, barely slept after that.

1st had to switch rooms. There was no cable boxes in the entire suite. In the 2nd room, the hot water in the sink did not work, had to was hands in tub. But the bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.

The whole property is under construction with virtually no amenities which is fine; but there was no mention of that on your website

We weren't even able to stay. I made the reservation from the hospital in Williston - we were traveling to Minot following my father who was being transported by ambulance. Reservation was made after midnight. Went to check in at 5am, Karen at the front desk said that my reservation was a no show and she couldn't access my reservation. We ended up sleeping in my car. Had to make it the way I did, had no notice of the travel and we only needed a couple hours of sleep. Will never book again through booking.com

Have stayed there multiple times in the past year and have had key card issues but not to the effect of being locked out of my room Maintenance did all he could to get me back in but took over an hr and had to wake up all the guests next to me so we could attempt to get in my room finally got in and packed up my stuff and went elsewhere Wasn’t even offered an upgraded room just we will move you next door General Manager had no explanation why or anything to make me want to come back.
