NZIt is downtown. A short walk to various tourist destinations. It is also close to restaurants and supermarkets.
I hit my head on the corner of the shelves as I was turning after entering the room. They could be placed higher or lower on the walls. I found the doors heavy.

GBAwesome hostel in central Wellington. Loads of social areas, but is a quieter hostel in nature. Staff were very accommodating, particularly over a last minute room change. Very clean bathrooms for a hostel.
Parking was a bit of a pain, as expected in central wellington. Could have done with a bit more information on it, and if you arrive more than a couple of hours before 6pm (when free parking kicks in) you can’t park outside the hostel (time limit of 2 hours).

USThis hostel was in a great location. The price was extremely reasonable and for the price I think it was a great deal. I only stayed here one night because I was caught in a storm in Wellington and I don’t think you can complain about a hostel when the price is low.
The kitchen seem to be a bit dirty, but I did not use it so this is just from observation and they were actively asking for people to apply as cleaners so maybe this will be better in the future.
