Langham Court

Good location, nice cooked breakfast quickly served. Very friendly staff but let down by a very tired hotel in much need of decoration and modernisation. Did not have chance to try the pool so can't comment on this or any other facilities. Room was small with dismal wallpaper very badly applied and carpet in poor, stained condition. The room (007) was cold and felt damp and had no view and I think was in the "neglected wing" of the hotel but at least was fairly quiet. Weak shower and over a bath where the shower curtain only went halfway over bath with the inevitable result of a wet floor. Towels were not replaced daily and I had to ask for a replacement. TV was tiny (but suited room) and not a great picture and remote control was £5 deposit apparently because some people stole them or took the batteries! A budget hotel and I guess I got what I paid for.

Hotel was a bit dated and the rooms smelt damp , breakfast and service was good As we only used it to sleep as we was visiting relatives, was ok for us

The room wasn’t as nice as expected. Staff friendly and helpful. Had to pay £5 deposit for TV remote that didn’t work. Breakfast was good.

No parking (minimal). One night had to walk half a mile.

A little dated but otherwise a comfortable stay. Staff go above and beyond.
