Nice beach stay for family with cooking available in larger rooms

We really enjoyed our time at A Beach Retreat! The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and easy to find. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Parking was easy and stress-free. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even the other guests were warm and easy to talk to. It had a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The hotel is also conveniently close to lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location and the staff was really helpful. Didn't love that they didn't have any beach chairs or beach towels.

Beautiful place and such a great area!

The mattress was a little squeaky and shower water pressure was low. Other than that the place was clean and great ocean views

Loved the old Florida vibe of this place. Super. Nice perk to have the fresh water pool too.

The Resort was on the beach and that’s about all I can say. I expect better for my $532 for 2 nights 😱Yes our studio was nicely remodeled, but not clean. The floors and shower stall had a weird film. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets had multiple stains and hair. The office closes at 5pm daily and check-in is at 4!! No time to check in unload and start finding these things out to even complain. No ice available for guests. We were told to drive over the bridge to purchase ice! So much noise from teenagers jumping off the bridge with loud music going constant til around 11 each night. lots of police driving thru and often talking to the kids

Had to have our room moved a couple of times, but management was accommodating. They also addressed a couple of other issues that we had. Location on the gulf is excellent. They are still recovering from last year’s hurricane, but they are getting close.

My husband and I stayed on the Gulf side in an efficiency room that opened to the courtyard and could not have been happier. Casual conversations with other guests and easy access to the beach made it the perfect stay for two people looking for a quiet long weekend. Nearby restaurants were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure

We stayed a week for our honeymoon. It was perfect for us. We will definitely be returning every year for our anniversary. The suite was very clean, office staff nice and helpful. You can't be at the location.
