The location is good for a quick on and off the Interstate.

Check in is confusing; you have to check in at the diner.

I called the hotel direct to reserve a room - I asked for the ground floor, if they have breakfast and I told them I have pets. They came back and said "Yes we have a ground floor room, yes on the breakfast and total will be $148 including pets". When we go there they said " No ground floor rooms available." Even though I made a reservation for the ground floor. Check-in was at the next door restaurant. I had to ask for a coffee pot as well. No coffee pots in the rooms. That evening we decide to order take out from the restaurant, Penny's Diner next door affiliated with the hotel. We order online. Two minutes later we get a phone call saying they only are serving hamburger's and fries. Other ingredients they don't have to make other food, like a Ruben sandwich or salads. They said "I will let my manager know to credit your credit card." Our credit card got charged. When we checked out they charged an additional $80 for pets. When I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me, the receipt showed $93.60 for the room(recipe showed it was charged to a different credit card number, not our credit card ) and $80.00 for the pet few. Our credit card was charged $149.39 (note they added an additional $1.39), then $30 for the dinner and $50 incidental few, which is still pending at this time. They also charged us an additional $80.00 pet fee which original phone call said that was included in the $148 quote over the phone. No breakfast included. They want you to go to their restaurant. Also, when checking out in the morning when I question this they said a few lame excuses that they are not responsible for third party reservations but I called the hotel direct!! No third party was involved.

Extra fee for incidentals. Are you kidding me? Half the price of the room? And I’m suppose to trust they will return $60z

Nice rooms area. Area around is kinda junky. But then this is an old town. The rooms are fine
