"Relaxing break"

10.0

Lovey relaxed hotel. Room was spotlessly clean. Really useful to have the kitchen, with full sized fridge etc. plunge pool on balcony was heated, clean and very welcome. The spa is pure tranquility. No-one else there the days we went. All kinds of bubbles and water things to chill with. Steam room very good - smelt of aromatherapy oils. We were half board. Breakfast was excellent except for the last morning, when the "hot" food wasn't. Had been lovely for three days prior to this. Evening meal was fantastic with around 10 choices across the three courses. Amazing seafood & beef tournado - cooked to perfection when asked for rare! Wine reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is a twinkling womderland with lanterns and fairly lights. really lovely! You need a car because of the location. The road noise isn't a problem, yes there are cars and the odd bus, but it really isn't a problem. A bit annoying that there is a Nespresso machine in the kitchen & they charge 1.5 Euro per capsule. The room is stocked to the hilt with wine, beer, soft drinks etc (all chargeable), great if you can't buy your own.

"Perfect"

10.0

We had the most amazing stay and cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff are wonderful and will do their best to make sure you are happy. We took our 2 year old son for his first holiday and it was perfect for us. The villas are large and extremely clean comfortable, our villa had its own pool that was just the right size for us and the view was great. When I read reviews before booking this hotel some of the negatives I came across were 'road noise' and the fact it is a little out of the way. I am so pleased I didn't let them put me off, our villa was on the lower level so was closest to the road but it is not at all busy and we didn't even notice it. The fact that it is a little out of the way is in no way a negative. The supermarket is an easy walk which probably took us about 15 minutes to get to with a 2 year old, the beach was a short drive and reception are always on hand to call you a taxi. There are plenty of taxis around to get back to the villa too. The hotel does also have a garage and will help you out with hiring a car although taxi fares are cheap enough. Overall this is fantastic place to stay, we are very happy we have found it and are sure we will be returning as often as possible!

"Relaxing break"

10.0

Wonderful break in this 5* + apartment. The whole place was just superb with every comfort on hand. Just a shame the road could possibly spoil a quite time if you let it. The staff were extremely attentive and the whole place kept to a really high standard. The apartments are a little out of the way so a car is highly recommended. The surrounding areas of Playa Americas and Los Cristianos were very disappointing.

"Great place to unwind in peace"

10.0

If you like peace, spacious, well-equipped rooms, a choice of your own plunge pool, the spa pool with bubbles, and the outdoor pool with views and loungers, good breakfasts and fine dining, you will love it here! A choice of good restaurants; either the hotel itself, (though service was a bit slow in the evening) or La Caleta for which you would need a car or taxi. The coast is a couple of miles away at La Caleta. Interesting island; we really enjoyed the El Teide UNESCO world heritage site. Car hire helps.

"For honeymooners and romantic weekends."

10.0

A wonderful place but I would definately define it as described i.e. royal garden VILLAS and spa. This place is not a hotel but provision is made for those who would like to dine there is a restaurant. The restaurant is splendid in it's ambience. We were disappointed to find that choice from menu was extremely limited. The food was beautifully served and of a high quality but rather novelle cuisinne. The breakfast was taken in the gorgeous dining room but the food didn't live up to the elegant surroundings. Plenty of fruit was available as was bread, cereals, and continental buffet. Alas for those who preferred an english breakfast it was rather disappointing. Despite arriving at breakfast at different times, the cooked eggs were always cold, as were the bacon, sausage and beans. They were displayed in a warming dish and it was obvious they had been there for quite some time. It would have been better for breakfast to have been cooked to order thereby giving satisfaction. However it is a truly beautiful place but expensive for what you get.

"Real five star relaxation"

10.0

Perfect for our needs. Quiet. private, very low key environment in which to completely relax. Close to amenities (two supermarkets) and several restaurants enabling us to pick and choose between eat out and eat in options. Adults only spa was a daily treat. Considering returning with elderly parents. We suggest a car is helpful.

"Could be a bit too quiet"

10.0

Absolutely fabulous accommodation and service but if you like a bit of evening social life in a hotel then this is not for you. We so enjoyed the privacy of our own plunge pool during the day but missed the camarerie that you get when going for a drink or a meal in the evening. Manager Fiona is a lovely lady and Eva and Horke in the restaurant were amazing, thank you very much, we had a nice if quiet break.

"Peace in paradise"

10.0

Beautiful and tranquil hotel with some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experienced. The hotel is situated next to a main road which can detract from the seclusion that the villas offer but ultimately do not effect the privacy. The hotel is perfect for romantic couples but easily accommodates families. The facilities offered are excellent with a fantastic restaurant, the one minor gripe would be that the bar really let's the hotel down. One piece of advice I would give is that a car will make life easier, due to the private and secluded nature of the hotel means nothing is really in walking distance. There are two small villages close by with everything you would need and would recommend the restaurants in the coastal village la caleta.
