My stay here was like staying in fairy tale. I absolutely loved the owners and the guests who were also staying. The grounds were so beautiful; I hope to visit another time, just for fun! I am so glad I stayed there versus staying in a hotel.

Lovely hostess. Friendly and professional. Very comfortable. Convenient location. Spotless. Lovely place. Slightly odd layout of toilet in the bathroom. May be tight for taller guests.

The Cottage was a beautiful little retreat in Monticello! We really enjoyed our stay. The garden out back was lovely and the decor inside was truly unique. Breakfast was wonderful - Martha made delicious gluten-free waffles! We enjoyed our conversation with the hosts as well as the tour of the house. It was neat to see all the work they'd put into it; you can tell it is a labor of love. The Cottage is a hidden gem! Thanks for having us.

The owners were super kind and helpful. The property is gorgeous. Breakfast was customized to our needs. The bathroom was so fun too! Would recommend!

Martha and Jean Michelle are warm and delightful hosts, full of stories and interesting information and eager to make a guest feel at home. The Cottage B&B is a one of a kind experience filled with Southern charm. We stayed in the Mediterranean room, one of three available rentals. In addition to the bedroom and bath (with European shower), our accomodations had a small sitting room with leather couch, TV, refrigerator and sink. Breakfast was included and was fresh fruit and yogurt, coffee, juice and hot apple turnovers fresh from the oven. The Cottage B&B also has a lovely garden and courtyard. This is a special place, not your typical stay. The hosts are warm and caring and make it a total experience.

Loved this charming B&B in Monticello! The owners have put a spectacular amount of effort in making each of the rooms individual. We felt welcome, and wish we had been able to spend more time there. Breakfast was also delicious!

We really like this area of Florida and have visited often, but this is the first time we've tried the bed and breakfast option. The Cottage was in the perfect location and was competitively priced. It is a beautifully renovated building with a really nice feel to it = very Villa-like. Martha and JM were very accommodating and friendly. Really the only downside was a few of the condition aspects - shower doors didn't fit quite right and arrangements for night lights (puck lights and one plug in) weren't working. Other than that and a very generic bed we found this to be an excellent choice in lodging.

Couch and continental vs bed and breakfast experience. The bed was small and unstable so we could not sleep together in the bed..beautiful home and grounds but the continental breakfast was very limited .rasberry, yogurt, juice, coffee...the hosts explained that the Full breakfast is on the weekends only. We expected cereal, milk, bananas , strawberries.. The grounds make us want to explore Again on the weekend to see if we get a Total Bed and Breakfast experience.
